A well-established, independent chartered accountancy practice is recruiting for an Audit & Accounts Senior to join the friendly team providing a full range of accounting services to a range of entrepreneurial SME businesses and limited companies. The role will be approximately split 50/50 accounts to audit andwould suit an ambitious and versatile recently ACA/ACCA qualified individual. As Audit & Accounts Senior your responsibilities will include: Preparation of statutory and annual accounts from records supplied by a range of clients Involved in statutory audits from planning to completion Prepare draft business tax computations and CT600 returns Prepare the year end accounting files and ensure they are complete, with back up schedules to support balance sheet figures Ad-hoc advisory services Maintain and build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues Manage client expectations, provide proactive advice, and deliver services within agreed timeframes Delegating tasks and overseeing the work of junior team members and reviewing their work Mentoring trainees and supporting their professional development Supporting Partners and Managers with their client portfolios Ensure compliance with professional standards and internal procedures, and help improve internal processes and promote efficient working practices <...
