Great opportunity for an Accounts & Audit Manager to join a medium sized, independent firm in Central London.


The firm are seeking an ACA or ACCA qualified candidate, with a least 4 years’ experience in Practice. In your role, you will ideally be involved in around 40-50% Audit work, with the remainder being Accounts and potentially some Tax work too.

The Role:

  • Review and finalisation of accounts and corporate tax returns
  • Managing the portfolio of clients including:
  • Supporting Partner with day to day queries
  • Managing work flow and ensuring all work is prepared and filed on time
  • Reviewing work prepared by junior team members
  • Handling day to day queries from clients
  • Leading the planning of audit engagements
  • Overseeing the execution of audits, ensuring work is completed to high standard and within agreed timescales
  • Providing technical guidance on accounting and audit issues, staying up to date with changes in accounting and auditing standards
  • Attending client meetings to discuss audit progress
  • Manage, motivate and coach junior staff members
  • Reviewing staff performance and support ongoing professional development and training
  • Review WIP, manage billing processes
