An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Audit Assistant Manager to join my clients team in their Manchester offices on a hybrid basis.
My client is one of the regions leading independent chartered accountants and business advisers and provide a full-service offering to their clients.
The Role:
As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will support the management and delivery of audit assignments from planning to completion, working closely with managers, senior managers, and directors. You will play a key role in coordinating with clients, overseeing audit tasks, and ensuring high-quality work. Additionally, you will mentor and guide junior team members on engagements, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to the efficient execution of day-to-day audit operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead on-site audits, implementing agreed plan, through to completion, co-ordinating on-site resources, allocating the team to tasks and timescales for completion. • Lead on audit quality, ensuring adherence and compliance with company practice and auditing standards • Work closely with audit juniors, reviewing their work and supporting them in the development of their role • Responsible for on-site audit findings report, identifying and documenting any areas of concern/risks identified by audit team, emphasising relevant messages, and submitting for review • Develop good client relationships, in order to ad...
