Job Description
An established and highly regarded independent accountancy firm based in the heart of Leeds is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join its growing team.\n\n This is an excellent opportunity for an audit professional or general practice accountant with audit experience looking to take ownership of a varied portfolio while working in a collaborative, people-focused firm that values quality, relationships and long-term development.\n\n The Role\nManaging a diverse portfolio of audit clients across a range of sectors\n\nPlanning, leading and completing audit assignments from start to finish\n\nReviewing work prepared by Audit Seniors and Trainees\n\nActing as the primary client contact, building strong working relationships\n\nIdentifying risk areas and providing practical, commercial recommendations\n\nAccounts preparation for a range of clients\n\nMentoring and developing junior team members\n\nThe Candidate\nACA / ACCA qualified or qualified by experience\n\nStrong background in external audit within practice\n\nExperience managing audits and supervising teams\n\nCommercially aware with strong communication skills\n\nConfident liaising directly with business owners and senior stakeholders\n\nThe Offer\nSalary £52,000 – £62,000 depending on experience\n\nCentral Leeds location\n\nSupportive, independent firm environment\n\nClear progression opportunities\n\nCompetitive benefits package\n\nThis role would suit someone seeking a varied portfolio of accounts and audit clients, client exposure and a genuine opportunity to progress within a respected independent firm.\n \n If you are interested in this Audit Manager opportunity with an independent accountancy practrice or would like any further information, please do not hesitate to contact Richard Warwick at IPS Finance. \n \n IPS Finance has 45 years experience in the Yorkshire accountancy recruitment market.
