Senior Audit Manager - Internal Audit (Risk, Compliance & AML)\n Contract: Fixed Term (9/10 months)\n Location: London / Hybrid\n\nAn established global financial services organisation is seeking a Senior Audit Manager to join its Internal Audit team on a 9-month fixed-term contract.\n\nThe role focuses on delivering audit coverage across Risk Management, Compliance and AML, supporting Capital Markets, Wealth Management and related functions.\n\nKey responsibilities:\n\nLead and deliver internal audit engagements from planning through to reporting.\n\nAssess business objectives, processes, risks and key controls.\n\nDevelop and execute audit testing strategies.\n\nEvaluate the impact of audit findings and communicate outcomes to senior stakeholders.\n\nSupport audit report preparation and presentation.\n\nMonitor and follow up on management actions.\n\nBuild effective working relationships across the business.\n\nContribute to continuous improvement of audit methodology and coverage.\n\nKey requirements:\n\nSignificant experience in Internal Audit or control/testing roles within financial services.\n\nStrong knowledge of Risk, Compliance and AML frameworks.\n\nExperience leading audits and overseeing staff.\n\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\n\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.\n\nStrong organisation skills and attention to detail.\n\nComfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.\n\nThis role is ideal for candidates operating at Senior Manager / AD-VP level who are open to a short-term fixed-term contract.\n\nInventum Group is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
