BDO’s Tax Accounting Group is a national team of tax professionals specializing in tax accounting and tax audit work. This role involves supporting high-profile audits across various sectors, acting as a tax accounting specialist for non-audit clients, and working on complex engagements such as GAAP conversions, carve-out, and acquisition accounting. You will be responsible for managing tax audits, serving as the main contact with audit teams, and collaborating with junior staff and tax partners. The role also includes handling ad hoc projects, coaching, and training team members, and acting as a key contact for tax accounting queries within the practice. We are looking for candidates with prior experience in tax accounting and tax auditing, knowledge of FRS102 and IFRS (US GAAP is a plus), and general corporate tax experience. Strong project management skills, leadership in coaching, and experience dealing with senior management are essential. Candidates should be educated to degree level and hold CTA and/or ACA qualifications.
