About The Role

Current Vacancies

• Managing a large and complex client portfolio of mainly captive insurance engagements;
• Providing a quality, risk-focussed review of audit work;
• Coaching and mentoring junior staff;
• Responsible for ensuring engagements are delivered on time and within budget, whilst ensuring the engagement file is completed to a high standard;
• Reviewing financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS;
• Providing technical guidance to the team;
• Maintaining and building client relationships;
• Ensuring engagements are appropriately staffed;
• Creating and delivering client presentations and proposals;
• Assisting and aiding the development of managers in the department.

• Applicants must hold a recognised professional accounting designation (ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA);
• At least 6 years of external audit experience in a Big 4/top 10 firm primarily on insurance audits;
• Currently a senior manager, or over 2 years' experience as a manager;
• Extensive knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, US GAAS and ISA;
• Strong work ethic;
• Excellent management and communication skills along with technical competence;
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
