About the Role
As an Autism Support Worker, you will:
Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with autism.
Help create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment.
Support the development of communication, social skills, and independence.
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to tailor support to individual needs.
Promote inclusion and ensure every child has the opportunity to succeed.
What We’re Looking For
Experience supporting children or young people with autism (school or care setting).
A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for supporting SEND students.
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
