Rate: Up to £20 per hour
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30am start, overtime at Time and a Half
We are recruiting an experienced Auto Electrician to work with a leading provider of advanced vehicle solutions in Stonehouse. This is a hands-on role working across a diverse fleet, focusing on diagnosing, repairing, and installing vehicle electrical systems to ensure safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose electrical faults and repair wiring systems using advanced diagnostic tools.

Repair and replace faulty wiring, lighting, sensors, and control systems.

Install and configure new electrical systems, including lighting, CANbus components, CCTV, weighing systems, and telematics.

Install and test electrical components and wiring harnesses in vehicles.
*
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and engineering instructions.
*
Conduct end-of-line testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
*
Collaborate with engineering, mechanical, and fabrication teams to ensure high-quality vehicle builds.
*
Maintain accurate job records, inspection sheets, and reports.
*
Follow all relevant safety standards and procedures.
Requirements:

Qualified Auto Electrician with proven experience in automotive electrical systems.
*
Proficient in modern diagnostic tools and electrical schematics.
*
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
*
Relevant certifications (e.g., City & Guilds) desirable.
*
Self-motivated and committed to safety and quality workmanship.
