Are you an experienced Auto Electrician looking for a new opportunity? We are recruiting for a skilled Auto Electrician to join our team in Consett, working on the maintenance and repair of buses for one of the UK’s leading nationwide bus providers.

Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair electrical faults on buses, including wiring, batteries, lighting, and control systems

Carry out planned preventative maintenance and servicing of electrical systems

Complete electrical installations, modifications, and upgrades as required

Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards

Work collaboratively with a team of experienced engineers and technicians

About You:
Proven experience as an Auto Electrician (commercial vehicles or buses preferred)

Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and diagnostic methods

Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and technical manuals

Awareness of health and safety regulations within the automotive sector

A proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced workshop
