We are looking for elite Heavy Maintenance Mechanics to join our specialist team in Solihull for high-impact, long-term contracts.From supporting critical launch phases to executing precision rework and managing batch and hold quality campaigns, your expertise will ensure the next generation of vehicles hits the road in peak condition.The Role: Specialist Mechanical Rework & Launch SupportThis isn't just a basic service jobits a chance to master the mechanical core of the latest EV technologies, including P/HEV and M/HEV systems including:Engine & Powertrain Mastery: Executing full engine removal and precision re-fitment to vehicles.Precision Assembly & Repair: Stripping, fitting, and upgrading complex interior and exterior vehicle components.Technical Execution: Interpreting technical documentation and wiring diagrams to support complex vehicle projects.Systems Integration: Performing restorative and preventative work on gears, brakes, air conditioning, and fuel pumps to a turn-key standard.Diagnostics & Rework: Using advanced diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical faults and replace faulty parts.Future-Proofing: Inspecting and repairing vehicles to ensure they meet the rigorous standards of modern, high-performance systems.Whats in it for You?We value your skills and offer a package that reflects your expertise:Top-Tier Pay: Earn between £15 and £16.50 per hour based on experience and performance reviews.Premium Overtime: Boost your earnings with weekend overtime at premium rates.Flexible Contracts: Ongoing work paid via Limited Company or Umbrella (Outside IR35).Varied Shifts: Between 8-hour and 12-hour shifts over a 7-day periodAre You the Perfect Fit?If you have a proactive attitude and a passion for automotive excellence, we want to hear from you.
