A day on the line
You arrive, review the latest Standard Operating Procedures, and complete line clearance. You set up automated machining cells for the Auto Process (Cutting Instruments) area, verify gauges and fixtures, and begin production runs. Throughout the shift, you:
Run and monitor automated equipment, keeping production on target and within specifications Perform precision inspections with gauges/fixtures and apply statistical oversight to verify quality Complete optical tool inspections, mechanical and negative checks, assemblies, and changeovers Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues to minimize downtime Follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Documentation Practice (GDP) in every task Document accurately, uphold quality control, and finish required training on time Handle materials safely and maintain a clean, compliant work area Meet individual job requirements while supporting continuous and regulatory improvement
What you bring
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Fluent English reading, writing, comprehension, and communication Work hours: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM EST (2nd shift) Onsite role Sponsorship and relocation not available
qualifications
Prior manufacturing experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Strong organization, attention to detail, reliability, and a collaborative mindset
Technical strengths that help you thrive
Die attach/bonding familiarity Equipment, mechanical, and electrical troubleshooting CNC tooling and CNC programming Machine setups for production runs; CNC machine troubleshooting Manual machining capability Tool/die/mold setup and repair experience
