The Role

A well-established and growing independent garage group is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to join its busy workshop.


This is a hands-on role working across a wide range of vehicles, focused on diagnostics, repair, and servicing to a high standard.


Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults
  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work
  • Inspect vehicles for wear, faults, and safety issues
  • Complete all work in line with DVSA standards
  • Carry out MOT inspections (if qualified)
  • Deliver a high standard of workmanship and customer service


What You’ll Need

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability
  • Experience using diagnostic tools and multimeters (oscilloscope beneficial)
  • Good knowledge of electrical and electronic systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Basic IT literacy


Desirable:

  • MOT licence
  • NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 or above (Level 4 advantageous)
