AV Technician

The Role

We are seeking a passionate AV Technician to support the smooth delivery of events, performances and presentations across the schools multiple venues. This is a hands-on role involving the setup, operation and maintenance of audio-visual equipment for assemblies, concerts, drama productions, live-streamed events and external hires.

Responsibilities

* Provide AV support for internal events, performances and school productions

* Set up, operate and de-rig sound, lighting and video equipment

* Support live streaming, recording and basic video editing of events

* Maintain AV equipment and presentation spaces

* Assist with external hires and evening/weekend events as required

* Work collaboratively with music, theatre and IT teams to deliver events

Requirements

* Experience working with audiovisual equipment in live event or performance settings

* Knowledge of sound, lighting and video systems

* Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

* Physically able to move and handle AV equipment

* Strong communication skills and a professional approach

Desirable

* Experience with live streaming and video editing

* Knowledge of audio and lighting desks

* Previous experience in an education or performance environment

Safeguarding:

The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
