Azure Engineer

This role focuses on Azure architecture and hybrid connectivity, supporting platforms that integrate on-premise data-centre infrastructure with Microsoft Azure. The engineer will work closely with infrastructure, network and security teams to on-board into service existing Azure services.
Key responsibilities
Design and operate Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services
Support hybrid environments integrating Azure with on-premise platforms
Implement and operate Azure ExpressRoute connectivity
Support identity, networking and security integration with Azure
Provide technical input into platform designs and migrations
Troubleshoot Azure platform, networking and connectivity issues
Required experience
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure architecture
Experience implementing and supporting Azure ExpressRoute
Good understanding of Azure networking, identity and core services
Background in enterprise infrastructure (Wintel/Linux/VMware)
Desirable
Experience operating Azure within a managed services or hosting environment
Familiarity with data-centre networking and firewalling (Fortinet preferred)
Please note that this is an office based role in Hamilton.
