What you'll be doing:
- Using your Azure experience, support our clients by working within agreed timelines on Cloud Security: Discovery, Design, Implementations & Configuration
- Leverage core competence and industry standards, frameworks, and good practices to review, enable, validate, or define client Cloud Security outcomes
- Identify client needs and drivers for Cloud Security technology adoption, including technical security requirements, gaps, issues, and failings in client security designs and configurations
- Define Cloud Security Architectures (High Level / Low Level)
- Work with other teams to agree on implementation plans and effort
- Establish appropriate metrics and processes to achieve client objectives and targets
- Enact the setup of test, development, and production Cloud Security environments
- Implement and configure Cloud Security technologies
- Oversee, evaluate, and support discovery and audits, documentation, validation, assessment, and authorization processes
- Collaborate with GRC consultants, Service & Solution architects in securing products/services
What experience you'll bring:

- Subject matter expertise in Azure Cloud Security Engineering
- Implementing the Azure Security product suite, including Log Analytics, Sentinel, Lighthouse, Key Vault (including HSMs), AAD, AADDS, and building compliance policies and initiatives
- Experience in application & infrastructure security and integrating these with Azure services
- Security around Big Data implementations such as Delta Lakes, Data bricks
- Experience with Linux and Windows
- Experience working within waterfall SDLCs and agile methodologies
- Performing source code reviews and knowledge of secure coding practices
- Understanding protocols like TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL/TLS
- Knowledge of hardware load-balancing, firewalls, multi-tiered architectures
- Extensive project experience in complex environments
- Ability to operate under demanding conditions with drive and enthusiasm
- Strong influencing skills and ability to build relationships with delivery partners and senior stakeholders
- Security engineering / technology certifications and Microsoft Azure certifications
- Excellent communication skills with architects, business people, and technologists
- Commitment to personal growth and learning new security skills
- Willingness to work within Public Sector clients with UK Gov. Defence Vetting (e.g., SC clearance)
