Azure Solution Architect

Location: Wokingham (3-days per week)
Pay: inside IR35, up to £515 / day

We are looking for an experienced Azure Solution Architect to lead the development and delivery of a key decommissioning programme. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements, coordinate development efforts with offshore teams, and ensure timely progress reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and coordinate with offshore development teams.
- Lead the development and delivery of the RegDB decommissioning programme.
- Provide regular status updates through daily and weekly reports.
- Conduct requirement-gathering sessions with stakeholders.
- Develop and review code, ensuring quality and consistency across the team.
- Manage deployments to lower environments and support production releases with the SRE team.
- Prepare technical documentation for SRE handover.


Essential:
- Proficient in C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core, with strong OOP principles.
- Hands-on experience with Azure services including Logic Apps, Azure Functions, APIM, Event Grid, Azure Storage, and Service Bus.
- Strong understanding of API/integration lifecycle best practices.
- Skilled in JavaScript, XSLT, Liquid Templates, and Visual Studio Code.
- Familiar with Azure Integration PaaS offerings and Application Insights.
- Solid experience designing, building, and enhancing RESTful and SOAP APIs, including APIM policies and transforms.
- Strong knowledge of integration security protocols and standards.
- Comfortable with API testing tools (e.g. Postman) and documentation processes.
- Experience working with OpenAPI Specifications, WSDL, and XSLT.
- Proficient in SQL Server and integration testing (unit/UAT).
