Bakery Assistant (Full Time) Location: Oakham, Rutland Company: The Kitsch Hen About the Role The Kitsch Hen is looking for a Bakery Assistant to join their friendly bakery team in Oakham. This is a full-time role, ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on, creative work in a fast paced environment. You’ll be working mainly with our fondant-iced biscuits, helping with decoration and finishing. Some experience in a bakery or food production environment is preferred, but it’s not essential — full training will be provided for the right person. Key Duties * Icing and decorating biscuits with fondant * Packaging the biscuits ready to be collected by our couriers. * Keeping your work area clean and tidy in line with food hygiene standards * Working closely with the team to meet daily production targets Requirements: * Some bakery or food preparation experience preferred (but not vital) * A good eye for detail, especially when decorating * Reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic * Able to work well as part of a team * An interest in baking and creative food * Efficient, problem solving approach.
