Job Overview
We are currently recruiting experienced Band 3 Senior Care Workers / Team Leaders to join our dedicated teams across a group of residential care homes throughout Norfolk.
This role is ideal for an experienced Care Worker ready to take the next step in their career, supporting the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care while assisting with the leadership of the care team.
As a Band 3 Senior Care Worker, you will help supervise staff on shift, ensure care plans are followed, and provide hands-on support to residents.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support the care team during shifts
* Deliver high-quality person-centred care to residents
* Assist with the development and implementation of care plans
* Administer or supervise medication where trained
* Maintain accurate care documentation and reports
* Support residents with daily living activities including personal care
* Liaise with healthcare professionals, families, and management
* Ensure safeguarding and health & safety policies are followed
* Act as a role model and mentor to junior care staff
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Senior Care Worker, Team leader or experienced Care Assistant
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
* Experience working in residential or elderly care settings
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Good understanding of safeguarding and care standards
* Ability to lead shifts and support staff effectively
* Right to work in the UK
* Enhanced Child and Adult DBS – preferably on the update service
Desirable
* Medication administration training
* Experience supervising staff
* Knowledge of CQC standards and compliance
