Bank Female Support Worker
Pay rate: £14.18 per hour
Shifts: 8:00am - 20:00pm & 20:00pm - 8:00am
We're seeking a compassionate female support worker to provide personalised care for an individual with Autism, ADHD, Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), and Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD).
The person we support enjoys a range of creative and social activities, such as dance classes, arts and crafts, singing, swimming, dog walking, and socialising with friends. As their support worker, you'll be responsible for providing tailored 1:1 support, helping with daily routines, and accompanying them on social outings and appointments. You'll also assist with managing their medication, supporting their personal hygiene, and helping to care for their pet dog, Diesal. A key part of your role will be using distraction techniques to help prevent or de-escalate challenging behaviours, ensuring the individual receives the support they need to live a fulfilling life.
Key Requirements:
Must be female and have a valid driver’s license.
Must be confident working alone
Experience in mental health support, particularly with self-harm, is highly preferable.
Experience in Autism/ADHD/Challenging behaviour is beneficial
