Bar Manager - Gastro Pub

Im working with a really special, food-led gastro pub in an affluent neighbourhood, looking for a hands-on Bar Manager to take full ownership of the bar. This is the kind of place where people know your name, come back every week, and expect a proper level of service, so personality, presence and attention to detail are key. Its not a back-office role. Youll be on the floor, leading from the front, building relationships with guests and creating a bar people genuinely want to spend time in. The team is around 23 (FOH & BOH), and youll be a key part of the leadership team.

What youll be doing: Leading the bar day to day and setting the tone on shift Driving service standards and overall guest experience Managing stock, GP and keeping the numbers healthy Training and developing a strong, engaged team Creating an atmosphere that keeps people coming back

About you: A hands-on Bar Manager (or strong Assistant ready to step up) Big on personality

confident, warm and great with guests Experience in a quality, food-led pub or similar environment Strong knowledge of wines, beers and cocktails Commercially aware but still very guest-focused Someone who genuinely cares about the venue and their team
