Summary Of Position & Key Attributes

Our Bar Team is essential to the experience we provide. You will produce and serve drinks at high volume in a fast-paced, exciting environment. The role requires creative mixology, exceptional service standards, and collaboration with kitchen and front-of-house staff.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare drinks and memorise drink and food specifications.
• Engage with products and offer recommendations.
• Execute private and corporate events.
• Deliver uniform drinks according to Clays guidelines.
• Communicate about business and technology to guests.
• Maintain Health & Safety expectations.
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with floor, host, and kitchen staff in a calm and professional manner.
• Complete the Clayers Academy curriculum.
• Be a brand champion maintaining expectations and delivery at all times.

Skills And Desired Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in a cocktail bar.
• Excellent knowledge of classic cocktails.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Experience in high‑volume bars (preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Continuous learning mindset and passion for hospitality.
• Attention to detail and strong moral principles.
• Initiative and calm problem‑solving under pressure.

What You’ll Get In Return

The base hourly rate is £13.23 with a weekly Tronc service charge distribution.
