About the role:
As a BDM Technology and Innovation Lead you'll play a critical role in enhancing client engagement and streamlining processes with market-leading technological solutions. Collaborating across teams and acting as a pivotal bridge between BDM and Data & Technology functions, you will ensure our marketing technology strategy aligns with firm-wide objectives. You'll lead a high-performing team, manage stakeholders, and shape the future of our BDM function through innovation and digital transformation.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Act as the subject matter expert globally on all BDM technology and innovation matters.
- Develop and execute the BDM tech and innovation strategy in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Lead the management and optimisation of our BDM tech stack, including products such as Salesforce, Sitecore, Matter Explorer, and Pitch Perfect.
- Drive enhancements in digital client interactions, ensuring responsiveness and consistency.
- Oversee change management processes for new technologies and drive adoption across the firm.
- Evaluate emerging technology trends and their potential impact on business development and marketing.
- Manage vendor selection and relationships, ensuring compatibility with our long-term strategy.
- Champion the digital transformation of the BDM function.
We are ideally looking for:
- Extensive leadership experience in bridging business and technology within a complex B2B environment.
- A demonstrated outcomes-driven, big-picture mindset with sharp attention to detail.
- Proven success in implementing and optimising marketing technologies.
- Experience with change management and technology adoption on a global scale.
- Knowledge of emerging marketing technology trends and their business implications.
- Strong vendor management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A collaborative approach with the ability to influence effectively across a matrix structure.
- A track record in leading digital transformation initiatives.
This role is based at the Linklaters London office with a hybrid working model available.
