What Does a Foster Carer Do?

  • A Foster Carer provides a safe and caring environment for children and young people who cannot live with their birth families.
  • Its a skilled, home-based role that is both emotionally and financially rewarding.


Essential Criteria:

  • Have a permanent spare bedroom
  • You must be over 21 years old
  • A commitment to training and professional development
  • Have the right to remain in the UK
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
