We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic behaviour mentor to join a welcoming and supportive primary school team in Newbury. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate behaviour mentor who is committed to helping young learners develop positive behaviour, confidence, and engagement in the classroom.

As a behaviour mentor, you will provide targeted support to pupils who benefit from additional guidance with behaviour and emotional regulation. Working closely with teaching staff, the behaviour mentor will play a key role in creating a calm, supportive, and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group behavioural support for pupils requiring additional guidance. Help children develop emotional regulation, resilience, and positive behaviour strategies. Support pupils during lessons to encourage focus, participation, and engagement. Promote positive play, social skills, and healthy peer relationships. Monitor pupil progress and communicate effectively with teaching staff and support teams.The Ideal Candidate:
