A supportive SEN and SEMH school in Reading is looking for a Behaviour Mentor to work closely with pupils who require structure, consistency, and positive role modelling. This full-time role is ideal for individuals interested in behaviour management, psychology, youth work, or mental health.
You will be supporting students with SEMH, Autism, ADHD, trauma-related behaviours, and emotional regulation difficulties, helping them engage positively with learning.
Key Details:
Role: Behaviour Mentor
* Location: Reading
* Salary: £89-£100 per day
* Start Date: ASAP
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
* Age Range: Young People aged 11-18
As a Behaviour Mentor, You Will:
Support students using de-escalation strategies and behaviour plans
* Work 1:1 with pupils who struggle with emotional regulation
* Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning
* Collaborate with SENCOs, Teachers, and mental health professionals
