A forward-thinking and inclusive school in Reading is seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join their team full-time. The school supports students who present with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, behavioural challenges, and barriers to learning.

This role is ideal for graduates in Psychology, Criminology, or Education, or for individuals with experience in youth work, coaching, or mentoring.

Key Details
* Role: Behaviour Mentor
* Location: Reading
* Salary: £90-£105 per day
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
* Start Date: ASAP
* Age Group: 11 to 16
* Experience: Behaviour or youth work experience desirable

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to support emotional regulation, behaviour management, and engagement in learning. You will help implement behaviour plans, act as a positive role model, and build strong, trusting relationships with students who may struggle in mainstream settings.

The Behaviour Mentor role offers valuable hands-on experience working alongside teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals. You will develop practical skills in behaviour intervention, conflict resolution, and trauma-informed approaches.
