The Role
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:
Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with behavioural and emotional needs.
Work closely with teachers and support staff to implement positive behaviour strategies.
Develop and deliver tailored interventions to help students manage their emotions and behaviour effectively.
Foster a supportive and nurturing environment, helping students build self-confidence and social skills.
Act as a positive role model, guiding students towards improved behaviour and engagement in learning.
About You
To succeed as a Behaviour Mentor, you will:
Have experience working with children or young people, preferably in an SEN or behavioural support role.
Be patient, empathetic, and committed to helping students overcome challenges.
Possess strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Be confident in implementing behaviour management techniques and de-escalation strategies.
Be adaptable, proactive, and able to work effectively within a team.
