You'll work closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff to provide tailored support to students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs-helping them manage their emotions, build resilience, and achieve both academically and personally. You will be on call around the School and support in the Inclusion room supporting Teachers manage behaviour in classrooms as well as in the corridors.
This is a meaningful and rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people facing barriers to learning and personal growth. You will work alongside teaching staff to assess and provide support for targeted students so they can overcome learning/career barriers.

The School provides high-quality education for students aged 11-18 with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH) and Autism. The school focuses on a holistic and therapeutic approach, creating a nurturing environment that promotes self-confidence, emotional regulation, and positive relationships. Staff work collaboratively to help every learner thrive-both inside and outside the classroom.
Key skills:
Experience working with young people in a school, youth, or community setting (desirable)
Ability to remain calm and patient under pressure
Empathetic, resilient, and understanding approach
Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
Passionate about supporting young people with SEMH or behavioural needs
Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
Positive role model with a proactive and solution-focused mindset
