The Role - Behaviour Mentor

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom. You will work closely with students who may display challenging behaviour, helping them to develop positive coping strategies, improve their emotional regulation, and stay engaged in learning.
You will collaborate with class teachers, the SENCO, and pastoral staff to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEMH, ASD, and ADHD. The role will involve providing 1:1 and small group support, implementing behaviour management strategies, and promoting a safe and positive learning environment.
Strong behaviour management skills, patience, and the ability to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils are essential for success in this role.
