This is a highly rewarding role for individuals who are confident, patient, and committed to helping young people overcome barriers to learning. You will play a key role in supporting students to regulate their emotions, build positive relationships, and re-engage with education in a safe and structured environment.

We're looking for candidates who:

Have experience or a strong interest in SEMH, behaviour support, or youth work Are calm under pressure and able to manage challenging behaviour positively Build trust and rapport with students who may be disengaged from education Use de-escalation strategies and a consistent, empathetic approach Are resilient, reliable, and committed to making a difference every dayExperience in settings such as PRUs, alternative provisions, youth services, or care work is highly desirable-but not essential. A strong mindset, patience, and a proactive attitude are key.
