The Role - Behaviour Mentor
Seeking a resilient and proactive Behaviour Mentor to support pupils aged 11-16 within a PRU setting. You will work closely with teaching and pastoral teams to provide targeted 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils manage behaviour, regulate emotions and re-engage with education. The role involves implementing behaviour support plans, using de-escalation techniques, promoting positive behaviour and maintaining clear boundaries within a structured and consistent environment.

This pupil referral unit is located in the London Borough of Lewisham and is within walking distance of a nearby London Overground station. The provision supports pupils who have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream education, offering personalised learning, strong pastoral support and structured intervention programmes. The school was judged 'Good' at its most recent Ofsted inspection in 2023.
