Our client, a prominent player in the defence and security sector, is currently seeking a Bid Manager to join their Marine Technology team. This permanent role involves overseeing bids and proposals, particularly within the marine battlespace and wider defence applications, ensuring high-quality submissions and strategic growth.

This role is a hybrid positions and cna offer several potential office locations across the UK to be based from. Expectation is for 2/3 days a week in the office but this is flexible dependant on the applicant.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage multi-disciplinary bid teams to ensure high-quality, winning proposals Create and control bid schedules and resource plans Establish and control technical and non-technical requirements baselines, ensuring compliance and thorough documentation Coordinate and control bid budgets, schedules, and resource allocations Identify risks and proactively engage in risk mitigation strategies Maintain proactive dialogue with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers Coordinate proposal development and ensure alignment with business and customer expectations Provide coaching and guidance to more junior bid managers
