Bid & Proposal Writer Advanced Manufacturing Scale-Up

Location - Bristol / Hybrid

A fast-growing advanced manufacturing scale-up in Bristol is looking for a Bid & Proposal Writer to help drive new business while supporting key customer relationships.

This role sits at the centre of the commercial team, leading RFQ responses, proposals, and bid coordination, while also supporting customer success activities across the lifecycle of advanced manufacturing systems.

You’ll work closely with senior leadership, sales, product, operations, and technical teams to deliver compelling proposals and ensure customers receive exceptional support.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate RFQs, tenders, and proposal submissions
• Gather and structure inputs from technical, commercial, and operations teams
• Produce clear, compelling bid documentation
• Support account planning and CRM management
• Coordinate customer support and service activities post-sale
• Help ensure successful deployment, commissioning, and customer satisfaction
• Identify opportunities for account growth and additional revenue

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Experience in bid writing, proposals, or RFQ management
• Background supporting customers in a technical or manufacturing environment
• Strong written communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced scale-up
• Experience with CRM systems and B2B sales processes
