Bid Writer - North / North East LondonJoin an established construction company with a strong, long-standing client base. This role offers stability, a collaborative culture, and the chance to directly influence the success of major bids.This is a full-time, on-site position for the probation period, with hybrid working available afterwards. We are open to a range of experience levels and can offer £45,000 - £75,000 for the right person.The OpportunityYou'll join a well-established preconstruction and bid team where your writing will shape high-quality, winning submissions. This suits someone who enjoys turning technical detail into clear, persuasive content, taking ownership of their work, and helping strengthen overall bid quality.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce professionally written tender submissions, proposals and presentation materialsResearch and gather information from technical, operational and commercial teamsEdit, refine and proof content to ensure clarity, accuracy and impactMaintain a library of up-to-date bid content, case studies and supporting materialsSupport continuous improvement across bid processes and help ensure deadlines are metWhat We're Looking ForExperience within the construction sector is essential - whether with a main contractor, subcontractor, architectural practice, engineering consultancy or a built-environment consultancyIdeally 3+ years experience in a bid writing roleStrong writing, editing and proofreading skills with the ability to create clear, engaging contentConfidence working with multiple stakeholders and managing deadlinesExperience producing bids for Local Authorities or frameworks is beneficialProficiency in Microsoft Office; Adobe Suite or InDesign is an advantageStrong communicator with the ability to question, challenge and extract accurate informationDegree in English, Communications, Business or similar is preferred but not essentialWhy This Role Stands OutHighly established company with long-term relationships and repeat clientsSupportive preconstruction environment with a close-knit and long-standing teamFull visibility of the bid lifecycle with the autonomy to shape content qualityOpportunity to work across a diverse range of construction projectsFor more details, contact Vekshana.Aldwych Consulting values diversity and promotes equality.
