About the Role: Manage bids for both retained clients and new business, including major council contracts. Work within a well-established bids team of four, including senior bid writers and coordinators. Lead strategy and execution for bids in highways, street lighting, and civils. Collaborate with internal teams including social value, training, and senior leadership. Recent successful bids include projects in Greenwich and Hackney, with social value playing a central role. Ideal Candidate: Strong background in bid writing and bid management, ideally within highways or civil engineering. Understanding of council procurement and risk management.
