Contract: 6 month rolling

Rate: £40.00ph-£47.00ph


Overview

Advance TRS have recently partnered with a well-established consultancy that is actively hiring to support a surge of major projects across their business. They are seeking a technically proficient Civil 3D BIM Technician to join their growing Civil Engineering team.


The role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of infrastructure projects, including highways, earthworks, large-scale civil structures, drainage, and utilities.


Responsibilities

  • Using Autodesk Civil 3D and Navisworks, you will produce detailed civil engineering designs, including coordination, modelling and drawings.
  • Support clash detection and model coordination activities across disciplines
  • Support the setup and maintenance of common data environments, project templates, digital standards, and workflows.
  • Comply to the BIM Execution Plan and ISO 19650 standards, ensuring models are maintained with accurate data and attribute information.


Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Civil 3D, including modelling surfaces, pipe networks, grading, and corridors, is essential.
  • Practical experience using Autodesk Navisworks for clash detection.
  • Solid understanding of ISO 19650 and relevant local BIM requirements.
  • Experience with common data environments, primarily ACC and Bentley ProjectWise.
  • Ability to conduct model audits and verify data accuracy against the BIM Execution Plan.
