We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Biology Teacher to join our thriving secondary school in Richmond. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Biology Teacher to inspire students and contribute to a dynamic science department committed to academic excellence.
As a Biology Teacher, you will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stages 35, fostering curiosity and a strong understanding of biological concepts. The successful Biology Teacher will be confident in planning creative lessons, supporting student progress, and encouraging a love of science inside and outside the classroom.
The ideal Biology Teacher will have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to motivate students of varying abilities. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons as a Biology Teacher in line with the national curriculum
  
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback

• Support extracurricular activities related to biology and science

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  
• A degree in Biology or a related field
  
• Experience teaching as a Biology Teacher at secondary level (preferred)
  
• Strong communication and organisational skills
