Our client is a growing and ambitious property company that's actively expanding its residential and commercial portfolio across London. This is your chance to play a key role in the next growth phase, working closely with senior leadership and shaping the future of their block management division. This is a temporary role available immediately. About the Role This is a hands-on, career-building position offering the perfect blend of day-to-day block management, client relationship management, and strategic business development. You'll be responsible for a diverse portfolio of residential blocks and commercial units-many let to local authorities or via long-term brokers-while being fully supported to expand and strengthen the block management operations. You'll work directly with the C-suite, gaining exposure to high-level decision-making and real opportunities for long-term growth and progression. Key Responsibilities Manage a mixed portfolio of residential blocks and commercial units. Act as the main point of contact for landlords, leaseholders, tenants, brokers, and contractors. Oversee long-term rental agreements with local councils and housing providers. Coordinate maintenance, repairs, refurbishments, compliance checks, and major works. Prepare and manage service charge budgets. Conduct regular site inspections to maintain high property standards. Handle Section 20 notices and leasehold matters Identify and secure new block management opportunities. Support onboarding of new instructions and clients. Manage insurance policies, budgets, and cost efficiencies. Provide performance insights and reports to senior management. About You Minimum 3 years' experience in block management (residential essential; commercial advantageous) Strong knowledge of leasehold law, service charges, and compliance requirements Experience working with local councils and housing brokers. Proven ability to manage contractors and maintenance programmes. IRPM qualification (or currently studying toward it) is desirable. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills Commercially minded, proactive, and growth-oriented Able to work independently and confidently manage your own portfolio.
