BMS Engineer / Package Manager


We are seeking a BMS Engineer / Package Manager to join a major Commercial Project in London. This is an opportunity to play a key role on a high-profile site, leading the delivery, integration, and commissioning of the BMS package to ensure systems are delivered to the highest standards and ready for successful client handover.

The Role


Reporting to the Project Director, you will lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of the BMS package, ensuring systems are installed, integrated, and commissioned in line with project specifications and industry standards.


You will act as an ambassador for the company and its values, driving safety, quality, and performance on site while coordinating subcontractors and project teams to deliver a fully operational system.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the BMS package and coordinate with wider M&E workstreams
  • Ensure site safety standards are met alongside the Safety Advisor, including H&S documentation and project close-out
  • Implement procedures for managing BMS delivery, commissioning, and integration
  • Manage programme delivery, subcontractor progress, and information flow
  • Coordinate design information between clients, designers, contractors, and project teams
  • Ensure timely approval of materials and systems through the technical submittal process
  • Carry out quality inspections, manage snag lists, and ensure close-out ahead of handover
  • Maintain clear communication with subcontractors through meetings, documentation, and reporting
  • Participate in project meetings, engineering reviews, and coordination workshops
  • Support project close-out including O&M manuals, QA documentation, safety file, and final accounts


About You


Your Experience

  • Experience delivering BMS packages on large-scale commercial or mission-critical projects
  • Understanding of systems integration and commissioning processes
  • Proficient in project management and information management software



Your Qualifications

  • Relevant Engineering or Building Services qualification
  • Strong knowledge of BMS systems and commissioning practices
