BODYSHOP QUALITY CONTROLLER

Bodyshop Quality Controller details: Basic Salary: £30,000-£40,000 Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm Location: Coventry

A busy and well-established accident repair centre is seeking an experienced Bodyshop Quality Controller to join their team. For the Quality Controller role, ideally you will have experience within a bodyshop or accident repair environment and take pride in delivering high standards of work. As a Quality Controller, you will need to be highly detail-oriented, organised, and confident liaising with workshop teams to ensure all repairs meet manufacturer and safety standards.

Responsibilities of a Quality Controller · Perform thorough inspections of vehicles to ensure all repairs meet manufacturer standards · Validate repair work for accuracy, quality, and safety compliance · Liaise with repair teams to rectify any issues identified during inspections · Conduct final quality assurance checks before vehicles are returned to customers · Ensure all work aligns with manufacturer specifications and guidelines · Maintain accurate records of inspections and quality checks · Collaborate with departments to uphold and improve quality standards

Skills and Qualifications of a Quality Controller · Previous experience in a similar role within a bodyshop or accident repair centre · Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality · Ability to review job cards and understand repair processes · Excellent communication and teamwork skills · Strong problem-solving abilities · Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
