Our client is looking for a Bookkeeper to join their small team over 4 days to manage their day to day finance function. The business prides itself on doing things properly, with quality work, trusted relationships, and a supportive, close-knit team. What the Bookkeeper job involves Youll take ownership of core bookkeeping duties, ensuring accurate records and timely processing: Managing the purchase ledger and sales ledger processes Bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate cashflow records Credit card reconciliations Managing utility bills, insurance payments and any other support for the directors Preparing monthly VAT returns and supporting HMRC compliance Accurately managing the invoice factoring process and chasing any bad debt Liaising with suppliers/customers to resolve account queries
