IMMEDIATE START** **EXPERIENCED BOOK KEEPER / ACCOUNTS PERSON** **TEMP-PERM POSITION** We are recruiting for an experienced accounts / bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your accounting software skills in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities * Manage and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software Xero * Process and record accounts payable transactions in a timely manner * Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is accurate and up-to-date * Assist with preparing financial reports and statements for management review * Support month-end and year-end closing procedures * Liaise with vendors and suppliers regarding invoices and payments * Maintain organised filing systems for all financial documentation * Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures * Hours of work 8.15AM to 4.00PM Monday to Friday Requirements * Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role within an organisation * Proficiency in accounting software including Xero (ESSENTIAL) * Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial recordkeeping * Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently * Good communication skills, both written and verbal * AAT qualification would be a strong advantage If this position is of interest please contact us on (phone number removed) and ask for Chloe Webb
