Our client, a 1.2 million T/O organisation in Derby, is looking for a bookkeeper to start asap.

Description
Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers in line with organisational policies. Process invoices, payments, and receipts efficiently and accurately. Prepare and reconcile bank statements to ensure financial accuracy. Support the preparation of monthly financial reports for management review. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts as needed. Payroll administration for all staff. Monitor and manage petty cash transactions. Provide general administrative support to the accounting and finance team.Profile
A successful Bookkeeper should have:
Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar accounting role. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements. The ability to work independently and meet deadlines. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.Job Offer
An annual salary of £43,000 Temporary, possibly temp to perm office based position offering flexibility and experience in the not-for-profit sector. 37.5 hours per week although the client would consider 30 hours.
