Job Title: Boutique Hotel Operations Manager

Salary: £35,000.00 per annum

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a busy hotel operation. This role is key to ensuring smooth service across all departments while supporting business growth, particularly in food & beverage revenue and overall hotel performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily hotel operations across all departments
  • Oversee Reception, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Kitchen, and Food & Beverage teams
  • Ensure high standards of service and guest satisfaction
  • Support cost control and contribute to budget and P&L management
  • Work closely with the General Manager on staffing, scheduling, and team performance
  • Take a hands-on approach to operations (approximately 50% operational involvement)
Team Structure
  • Reports directly to the General Manager
  • Manages 6 direct reports
  • Oversees a team of approximately 45 employees
Skills & Experience
  • Background in hospitality, ideally as a Head of Department in Front of House or Food & Beverage
  • Strong leadership skills – approachable but able to maintain control
  • Experience with hotel systems such as Opera and Micros Symphony preferred
  • Good understanding of operational and financial management
  • Personal Licence (desirable)
Working Pattern
  • Business operates across weekdays and weekends
  • Peak times include early evenings and weekends
