Job Title: Boutique Hotel Operations Manager
Salary: £35,000.00 per annum
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a busy hotel operation. This role is key to ensuring smooth service across all departments while supporting business growth, particularly in food & beverage revenue and overall hotel performance.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily hotel operations across all departments
- Oversee Reception, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Kitchen, and Food & Beverage teams
- Ensure high standards of service and guest satisfaction
- Support cost control and contribute to budget and P&L management
- Work closely with the General Manager on staffing, scheduling, and team performance
- Take a hands-on approach to operations (approximately 50% operational involvement)
- Reports directly to the General Manager
- Manages 6 direct reports
- Oversees a team of approximately 45 employees
- Background in hospitality, ideally as a Head of Department in Front of House or Food & Beverage
- Strong leadership skills – approachable but able to maintain control
- Experience with hotel systems such as Opera and Micros Symphony preferred
- Good understanding of operational and financial management
- Personal Licence (desirable)
- Business operates across weekdays and weekends
- Peak times include early evenings and weekends
