The Box Machine Operator is responsible for sorting, preparing and packaging products requiring custom packaging. The ideal candidate will consider safety, quality and team work to a high regard, and work well in a team environment.

Hourly Rate and Schedule:

$17.00 - $17.50 per hour Stable schedule: 5-day work week ~40 hours Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm (start/end time may vary based on coverage and business needs)

Requirements for Warehouse Worker:

Previous experience using a custom box or gluer machine, . Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Previous warehouse experience and ability to operate a forklift or man lift (cherry picker), . Ability to engage in repetitious bending and lifting. Must obtain forklift and manlift certification within 3 months. Must be able to work up to 25 feet above ground level. Must not be afraid of heights.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Basic computer skills and knowledge of our WMS software Wear safety gloves while handling metal products Able to read, identify and sort products based on pick ticket details Scans product using handheld scanners Use advised packing material when packaging products Places necessary labels on packed products Using banding equipment on products is required Stages product for shipping in proper location for UPS/Fed Ex/LTL/truck shipments Keeps warehouse and work area clean and always organized Wear protective toed shoes and always work in a safe manner Assist Lead/team members when changing corrugate for Box machine Ensure Box machine and work area is clean and neat before leaving EOD All other duties as assigned by supervisor
