We are working with a well-established pump rental provider delivering temporary and engineered pumping solutions across the construction, water, and environmental sectors nationwide. We are now seeking a Branch Manager to lead their Liverpool operation based in Speke. This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for branch performance, people management, customer service, and commercial delivery. You will lead from the front, drive standards, and ensure the branch exceeds operational and financial targets. Responsibilities: * Lead the day-to-day management of the branch across operations, workshop, hire, and customer service functions * Take full ownership of branch P&L performance, budgets, run rates, and profitability * Manage and develop the branch leadership team including Operations and Workshop Managers * Drive a high-performance culture through coaching, objective setting, and accountability * Ensure all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards are fully met * Work closely with sales and solutions teams to maximise growth opportunities and customer retention * Review KPI performance regularly and implement continuous improvement initiatives * Manage fleet utilisation, transport efficiency, and return on hire assets * Maintain excellent service standards for local, regional, and national customers * Collaborate with other branches and central departments to support wider business goals Skills & Experience: * Proven experience managing a branch, depot, or operational business unit * Strong people management background with experience leading managers and teams * Commercial experience managing P&L, budgets, and performance metrics * Background in engineering, hire, construction, utilities, or similar sectors preferred * Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate and raise standards * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills * Strong health and safety awareness within operational environments * Commercially focused with experience driving growth and profitability * Confident using Microsoft Office and management reporting tools * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to other branches when required Summary Position: Branch Manager Location: Liverpool (Speke) Duration: Permanent Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 includes Bonus + Company Car Start: Notice dependent This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Branch Manager to take ownership of a major regional operation within a highly respected engineering business.
