Broker Account Manager The Broker Account Manager works closely with the Head of Sales & Distribution and the underwriting team to execute and drive the organization’s overall growth strategy. The role involves managing a panel of partner brokers to exceed strategic income and performance targets, while strengthening relationships and ensuring compliance. Key Objectives Achieve agreed income and growth targets. Develop and manage a high-performing panel of partner brokers. Implement joint business plans and provide training, marketing, and relationship support. Ensure brokers meet growth and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities Support the sales and underwriting teams in developing and executing growth strategies. Lead and develop relationships with strategic broker partners. Provide performance insights, renewal feedback, and market intelligence. Communicate strategy updates and broker performance insights internally. Use data to monitor and challenge broker performance. Promote new campaigns, initiatives, and strategic rollouts. Attend and host industry or broker events. Skills and Experience Proven experience in sales, broking, or business development within commercial insurance. Strong understanding of the insurance market, products, and legislation. Demonstrated ability to deliver strategic growth and manage multi-tier broker relationships. Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Knowledge of FCA regulation and FOS procedures. Proficiency in MS Office and report analysis.
