Building Physics Consultant - Energy Modelling (TAS Focus)
Location: Milton Keynes Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days remote)
The Opportunity
We're partnering with a well-established building services consultancy that is continuing to expand its building physics and sustainability capabilities. They are looking to bring on a Building Physics Consultant with a strong focus on energy modelling using TAS to support a diverse range of projects.
This position offers the opportunity to work across sectors including healthcare, education, residential, and commercial, with a clear emphasis on low-energy, performance-driven design.

What You'll Be Doing
Deliver dynamic thermal and energy modelling, primarily using TAS Support compliance with UK Building Regulations (Part L) Contribute to building performance analysis and design optimisation Collaborate with design teams to enhance energy efficiency and occupant comfort Assist with BREEAM assessments, particularly thermal comfort analysis Produce clear and concise technical reports and simulation outputs Provide input during project discussions with a focus on building performance
What We're Looking For
2+ years' experience in building physics or energy modelling Strong hands-on experience with TAS (or similar software) Good understanding of UK Building Regulations, particularly Part L Familiarity with BREEAM, especially thermal comfort criteria Relevant degree (e.g. Building Services, Environmental Engineering) Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
