We are currently seeking experienced Property / Building Surveyors to join our clients team across multiple regions, including the North East, Liverpool, North London, and Derbyshire.This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in ensuring their properties are safe, compliant, and well-maintained. You will manage a regional portfolio, leading on inspections, repairs delivery, and contractor performance-ensuring their clients are able to live independently in high-quality housing. Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver responsive repairs and minor works safely, on time, and within budgetCarry out site visits, including pre- and post-inspections, and quality assurance checksManage contractors, variations, and complex repairs across multiple locationsMonitor and control WIP, SLAs, and KPIs to improve performance and reduce backlogDiagnose defects and implement practical, cost-effective repair solutionsEnsure compliance with Building Safety Regulations, fire safety standards, and HHSRSManage damp, mould, and condensation (DMC) issues in line with best practiceHandle complaints effectively, using insights to improve service deliveryProvide technical support for incidents, including fires and serious untoward incidents (SUIs)Work collaboratively with residents and internal teams to maintain safe, high-quality homes RequirementsProven experience in social housing, including repairs, voids, and contractor managementStrong knowledge of building pathology and health & safety legislationAbility to manage WIP, data, and multiple sites effectivelyExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsDegree (or equivalent) in building or construction (essential)MRICS or MCIOB (desirable) Benefits25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays (with buy/sell options)Pension contributions up to 10%Life assurance (3x annual salary)Discounts on technology, travel, and everyday essentialsOptional Health Cash Plan and Dental PlanOngoing professional development and career progression opportunities About Our Client They are one of England's largest specialist housing provider, managing over 54,000 homes across 1,500 locations.
